Kitchens are a central part in our homes when we host guests, so we feel selecting the proper choices is very important.
Our cabinets are built to a high standard of Quality. Such as all plywood construction cabinets with solid wood doors, dovetail joints in the front and back of all our drawer boxes, under-mount drawer guides. We also attach our face frames to the box with a notch in the frame then it is glued and stapled from the backside, so that there are no nail holes through the face of the cabinet.
How can I go about to select my new set of cabinets?
With remodeling or building a new home selecting a set of cabinets can become a challenge with all the different options, we will try and help you through the selections although we leave the ultimate decision up to you and your personal preferences. In order to give you an idea about our process we will give several steps that we find work great for most of our clients although different needs do require a slightly different order to some of them.
-
How big is your kitchen or bathroom?
Size of area is one of the first things we want to know about when we start talking about a new kitchen or bathroom.
When you come to visit our showroom for the first time, we would prefer for you to go ahead and bring us a drawing and/or blue print. We would get our own measurements then before we would start building cabinets, but if you bring in that drawing or blueprint it allows us to get you an estimate of the cost of the project more quickly.
-
Styles and Selections….
In order for us to get you an estimate we will need to know some about your preferences for colors and styles. By looking through our design center you can choose your own door style, the type of wood and color of finish. Then, we can select your countertops, do you want Granite, Quartz, Solid Surface or Formica? And depending on what you select we have a selection of sinks and faucets as well. Then, we could look at different hardware choices for the doors and drawers.
-
Quote $$$
Once we have this information then we can work out a quote for you within a few days (depending on schedule) This estimate would be for the measurements that we are given and could change increase/decrease with final selections and sizes. We then like to be able to meet again and present the quote and our drawings to you.
After you have looked over the estimate and approved it, we would require a 50% deposit to start the order. -
Final Measurements and selections
After we receive a deposit on the job we will typically come out and measure the actual space and make the needed adjustments so that when the cabinets are installed everything will fit properly. If there are any selections that were not previously selected we would need them at this time as well.
-
Installation of your new cabinets
Finally, we bring the cabinets to your home and do our own installations. Check with us for our current schedule.
